You have probably never seen a smaller cheese shop but you probably haven't eaten a better vorarberger cheese either. Pop into Kaslochl for fresh cheese with pepperoni or basil, as well as regional specialities.
Austrian beer is not to be missed. Why not head to Stiegl and take a tour of Austria's largest private brewery? The 500-year-old tradition is explained and the tasting afterwards is a pure treat.
Day trip
Zell am See. Aa picturesque little town in the Pinzgau region, Zell am See is easily reached by train. Take a walk by the beautiful Zellar Lake or simply sip your coffee at one of the cafes along Dreifaltigkeitsgasse.
